A weekend of Asian music events takes place at venues around Bristol between Friday 15th and Sunday 17th September.

Friday 15th - Club Night at Club Capri:

With DJ ESA, DJ Show and the Vibrasians DJs. Big Bhangra beats mixed with R&B, hip hop dance and more. New Asian DJs from around the South West will also be adding their input. Looks like a night for dancing!

Saturday 16th - Live Performance at Colston Hall.

RSVP are a live Bhangra band based in the South West. For many years they have been providing their big Bhangra experience and this is certainly not the first time they have played at Colston Hall. If you have caught them before you will know what to expect - if you haven't, rectify the situation. Dil Kush Drummers will be performing live Dhol drumming with Indian sword dancing, and to top it all off  Bristol's DJ D-luxe will be mixing Asian classics with breakbeat, dub and triphop.

Sunday 17th - Chillout Night

At Mr Wolf's with Simon Kholi and Dhyan Singh playing Sarod and Tabla to bring the weekend to a close. Kush provide a live mix of Indian songs on jazz piano and tabla resulting in chill grooves. Between live acts DJ Phatwa will spin the best in Asian chillout between live acts.
